Mountain Sant’Angelo

The heart of the Gargano religion is the Mountain of Sant’Angelo, the Sanctuary of San Michele, which ìs the cave where in 594 Angel Michel appears. Since the Medieval times, it has been the destination of pilgrims who come from every corner of the earth walking along the Holy Road of Longobards visiting the characteristic medieval village and the Basilica Palatina.
